Bio-Process is in the business of developing, commercializing, and licensing improved process technologies for the efficient production of high value bio-based products, renewable fuels, and chemicals from a variety of crops, biomass feedstocks, and waste streams. BPI makes technologies available for commercial licensing and partners with research and industrial groups on collaborative R&D projects, technical & economic studies, technology development & scale-up, and the provision of custom process solutions & technologies.
Over the last 25 years, BPI has developed a library of patented and proprietary technologies, organisms, and process systems that are available for commercial licensing and applications. Specialties include biomass processing, bio-conversions and fermentation systems, and separations and product recovery.
Technologies developed by BPI are designed to reduce operating costs and improve revenues in non-sterile, industrial scale, processing facilities. Bio-Process works with industrial partners in the development and application of custom technologies & process solutions.
